
The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) issued an official statement today to inform about the sudden passing away of its President – Praveen Chugh. He left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday, 26 March 2019, in Delhi.
His last rites will be performed at 05:30 pm today i.e. Wednesday, 27 March at the Dayanand Muktidham Cremation Ground and Electric Crematorium on Lala Lajpat Road at Nizamuddin West in New Delhi.
The association outlined that he was a dynamic and visionary leader and a doyen of the travel and tourism industry in the true spirit. Chugh had the well-being of the membership close to his heart.
His acumen, analysis and foresightedness of the domain was unparalleled and unmatched. He read the signs of the time and prepared the association to be fully equipped to confront it. His passing away has certainly created a void difficult to fill.

Chugh did faced challenges, fought battles, had ups and downs in his career but never gave up. Those who knew him closely will recall his wit, humour, playfulness and mischief all of which added to his indomitable character.
